Chaufrr’s Community guidelines
How we travel together with safety and respect.
When you are a customer or you drive with Chaufrr, you are contributing to a community that puts well being of other people first. Kindness, Respect and Help are the fundamentals of our work environment which we proudly call as “CHAUFRR CULTURE”.
Treat everyone with respect and kindness
The people who are customers and drivers of Chaufrr have always given an extra hand to treat each other with care, propriety, and respect. By following these principles you keep our community and culture welcoming for everyone.
Always try and find the right vibe or environment when connecting with your driver or customer so everyone feels good about the conversation. There could be situations where you might have to stay quite because sometimes silence is all that we need.
Take other’s comfort into account by making sure it’s OK before sharing a personal story. Its better to not ask personal questions.
Respecting personal boundaries and keeping your hands to yourself is a must. And also, keep your judgements to yourself and always respect personal differences.
Treat your customer’s car with utmost care.
Handling each other’s property like it’s your own is a first class gesture.
Rowdy behaviour and romantic gestures are not allowed while you are working in the Chaufrr culture.
Help keep each other safe
Our objective is to provide safe trips for everyone, and by being an active user of the Chaufrr platform it’s our duty to make it happen.
Your name should be accurate and the profile picture on your account should match with your face properly. So make sure when you are clicking a picture, it is clear and shows your face properly.
After accepting a trip as a driver or booking a trip as an user, you must show up where and when you say you will.
Customers should have an appropriate car seat when there are kids travelling in their car.
When you are booking a trip, make sure there are no weapons or illegal substances in the car. It is for your safety and the driver’s safety as well.
Follow the law
This section is for everyone so they must follow all the laws and regulations.
You are responsible for knowing and obeying all applicable laws and the rules of the road. Comply with traffic laws, signs and signals at all times when using Chaufrr platform as a driver or as a customer.
All relevant documents such as License, Work Eligibility Proof or any other legal document must be kept up to date to avoid any temporary holds on your Chaufrr account.
Play your part to help us maintain standards.
Your feedback and honest ratings are extremely important. They helps us in maintaining exceptionally good service. Whether you are praising the service or pointing out to an issue that impacts the service, your voice helps make our journey together in Chaufrr Culture better than ever.
Provide details with your ratings if anything goes wrong in regards to any trip so we can make it right and prevent it from happening to some other user of the Chaufrr platform.
If your rating is considerably lower then you may temporarily or permanently loose access to the Chaufrr platform.
Post trip contact
Contact should end when a trip is complete unless its regarding returning a lost item.
Drivers and customers should inform Chaufrr if a driver or customer tries to contact them by any method.
We recommend not to share any unnecessary contact information.
Account sharing
Account sharing is not allowed in any situation. To use any Chaufrr app, you need to signup, register and maintain an active account. Don’t let any other person use your account. Never share any personal information related to your account such as your username, password, photos of yourself or any other specific information with anyone else to use the Chaufrr platform.
These guidelines are for everyone using the Chaufrr platform. Action and behaviour that effect Chaufrr Culture in an unjust manner or violates these guidelines is not acceptable in any situation.
If you choose to ignore and don’t follow these community guidelines, you may be permanently removed and banned from the Chaufrr platform.
